Cosmoprof 2010: Davines leads the way

Cosmoprof 2010 is opening its doors to the world of international cosmetics and Davines will obviously be a key participant. The event will enhance the power of green beauty, in which Davines is an industry leader. There will also be a fashion show to present the latest trends in hair-design.

Once again it is time for the most important trade fair of the year: Cosmoprof WorldWide Bologna. This is a unique opportunity to promote a genuine ethos of beauty.
In terms of sustainability and natural cosmetics, green beauty will play a leading role in the event and Davines, which has already gained a reputation for its commitment to sustainable beauty, will most certainly be the undisputed testimonial of this ethos.
Davines staff will be on hand to present the latest innovations in their product ranges and their packaging in pavilion 31, on their eye-catching stand made entirely of recycled cardboard and natural materials, the work of the eco-designer Shigeru Ban.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for discussion and to witness the brand’s creativity in action. The “On Hair” event will showcase Davines hair-design with a fashion show by eclectic testimonial Rudy Mostarda, who will present his new Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
In addition, upcoming new talents in international hairstyling will be under the spotlight. Tim Hartley, former artistic director of Davines, will be on the expert jury choosing the finalists in the “The next talent” contest.
Davines will be demonstrating its commitment to the cause of sustainability during the “Green-volution” initiative, the world’s biggest showcase for natural and organic cosmetics. This will allow Davines to reconfirm its position as one of the cutting-edge cosmetics companies in the field of eco-sustainability, and promote innovative projects that look to the future of beauty products.
